Sally’s strength lies in problem solving combined with a desire to deliver outcomes that will enable you to reach your financial goals. Her career shift to working as a Financial Adviser has partly been prompted by the experiences of her adult children and first home buyers in getting onto the property ladder and those wanting to enter the investment property market. Sally welcomes an opportunity to discuss your financing requirements to achieve your goals.

With a career start in retail banking at Standard Bank South Africa, then a bank sponsored move to their IT division and full training, Sally gained an understanding of banking finance from both a retail branch and IT level. A move to New Zealand in the 80’s with her Kiwi husband resulted in continuing within the banking sector until moving on to working as an independent software consultant. Children and a move to Marlborough saw Sally working as the Office Manager of a law firm where she gained an in-depth understanding of the requirements of conveyancing as well as running a Trust Account and a Nominee Mortgage facility. Subsequent moves brought about a move back to a more IT focused career working firstly as a Business Analyst in an FMCG then as a Data Quality Coordinator for an NGO.

As well as working, Sally spent many years volunteering including being elected to serve one term on the Board and one term as President of New Zealand Kindergartens which involved ensuring small one-Kindergarten associations as well as large multi-kindergarten associations were represented in Wellington with the Ministry of Education and the Education Minister. Sally also served on multiple sports committees and even went so far as coaching football one year!
